Mr Paul Toleman - Principal Optometrist

Having qualified in 1978, and having worked in both Eye Hospital and Private Practice enviroments Mr Toleman has gained over 30 years experience of all aspects of Optometry. He has acquired considerable expertise at dealing with and resolving the most difficult of Optometric problems.

He is recognised and accredited by Manchester Royal Eye Hospital in the following fields.

Cataract referral,

Diabetic Retinopathy Screening

and is one of a limited number of practitioners recognised by the Glaucoma Refinement and Referral Program.  

Mr Toleman has a particular specialist interest in complex Contact Lens cases, including treatment of Keratoconus, optical correction post Keratoplasty ( Corneal Graft ) and Cosmetic contact lenses in cases of Ocular trauma. 

Mr Mark Neugebauer - Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon (Private) ChB MB FRCS FRC (Ophth)

Mr Neugebauer has worked as a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Leighton Hospital since 1988. He provides a general ophthalmological service including paediatric work. Mr Neugebauer believes in trying to give full patient information.  During your consultation he will explain things in comprehensible detail. He is proud to have been elected as President of the Macclesfield Society for the Blind.
